Approach
I am a Gillette native and locally based social worker offering client-centered mental health services. I provide evidence-based therapies tailored to each person's needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). My approach emphasizes respect, collaboration, and practical skills to help clients build coping strategies, manage emotions, reduce distressing symptoms, and improve relationships and functioning in daily life.
Services include:
Individual therapy using CBT to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and develop healthier behaviors.
DBT-informed skills training for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
Assessment and goal-setting that center the client's values and priorities.
Short- and long-term treatment plans with regular progress reviews.
Crisis stabilization and safety planning when needed.
Referrals and coordination with local providers and community resources.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, borderline personality disorder, self-harm behaviors, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Sessions are confidential, culturally respectful, and paced to match each client's readiness for change. For inquiries about appointments, fees, or insurance, please contact the practice directly or request an appointment through with the booking option.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
